Here are some practical tools that you can use for trademarks, designs and the i-DEPOT. These handy tools may be of assistance to you in your day-to-day IP business. Most of these tools are facilitated by the European Trade Mark and Design Network. BOIP and WIPO also provide some useful IP tools.
DesignView
DesignView is a tool that you can use to search for registered designs. It is a central access point for viewing the registered design information held by any of the participating national offices. This information is presented in a uniform format, independently of which office the data comes from. The website shows which countries are currently making their data available.
DesignClass
DesignClass helps you to search for and translate product indications needed to apply for a Community design. The website shows which countries are currently making their data available.
The product descriptions are drawn from a joint database, the Harmonised Database, which is maintained by all European offices. The database currently contains over 60,000 terms, including all the terms on the alphabetical Nice lists. You can search for specific goods and services or groups of goods and services.
