On Friday 18 October 2019, the Second Chamber of the Benelux Court of Justice, which was established last year, rendered its first decision on a refusal on absolute grounds by BOIP. It confirmed the decision by BOIP to refuse the application for the trademark THINS for, among other things, crisps and bread. The judgment of the Benelux Court can be read here.
